Commissions don't stop
at the first sale.
Refer a customer once and earn 25% of our whole fee on every payment they ever make — every renewal, add-on fees included, for as long as their subscription lives. Most programs pay once; ours keeps paying.
Developers can join too. Bring your own customers through your referral link and the commission comes back to you — an effective take-rate of about 7.9% on a $100 sale at the base rate.

Common questions
Are there any other fees?
No. 10% + $0.50 per sale is the whole fee — 12% + $0.50 if you turn on the Hosted sign-in add-on. No monthly minimums, no listing fees, no payout fees passed to you, and nothing is ever billed separately.
Do my customers have to sign in with UseThatApp?
No. On the base plan every purchase mints a license key — your server validates it with one call, and the checkout redirect carries an order reference so you can link the purchase to your own user. Your auth (Auth0, Clerk, homegrown) stays yours. The Hosted sign-in add-on is the alternative: your login and your license check become the same call, and it covers free tiers too.
Can buyers outside the US purchase?
Not yet. Sales are limited to buyers with a US billing address while we finish the groundwork for international checkout. When a region opens, its rate will appear on this page first.
When do I get paid?
Payouts run automatically through Stripe on a rolling basis. Funds typically reach your bank account within 2–7 business days of a sale.
Can I list a free app?
Yes. Free apps cost nothing to list or run. The fee applies only when a paid transaction occurs.
How do affiliate commissions work?
Join the program to get a referral link, then earn 25% of our whole fee on each referred customer's payments — first purchase and every renewal after it, including the Hosted sign-in add-on fee when the app uses it. Commissions become payable 30 days after the charge and pay out monthly once your balance reaches $25.
